At My Affordable Attorney, we charge a competitive 25% contingency fee (excluding costs), ensuring that more of your money stays in your pocket. With a proven track record of success, we are committed to delivering exceptional results every step of the way.
What are Costs?
Our firm incurs essential fees and expenses, such as those for obtaining medical records and police reports, or filing a lawsuit to effectively resolve your case. Rest assured, there is no markup on these costs. They are typically minimal and will be deducted from your settlement proceeds before disbursement.
How much will I pay at other law firms?
In addition to costs, most firms charge 33.3% before filing a lawusit, or 40% after filing a lawsuit. These fees are deducted from the total settlement check before deducting any other fees. At My Affordable Attorney, whether or nor a lawsuit is filed, you only pay 25%.
How are you able to charge less than other law firms?
We rely heavily on technology to significantly reduce our operating costs. For instance, other than your settlement check, unless requested, we don’t send physical mail. No need to visit a fancy office, we do simple phone video or Zoom client meetings. You pay a higher fee for all of these costs at other firms. We pass all of our cost saving strategies on to our clients.
What does "No Win = No Fee" mean?
The phrase is used to entice you to sign up because there are no upfront fees due. Few, if any, attorneys charge a fee if they lose your case. The question you should ask upfront is, “How much will I pay in fees if we win?” With our firm, that answer is 25%, at other firms that answer will not be as simple.
Will my fee increase if a lawsuit is filed?
No! Your fees will always remain at 25% (minus costs), EVEN if we file a lawsuit.
Can you give an example of your fees versus other law firms?
If we settle your lawsuit for $100,000 My Afforable Attorney will charge $25,000; a traditional law firm would charge $40,000. This would mean, for the same settlment, you would retain an additional $15,000 in your bank account working with us versus them.
Does a lower fee mean worse lawyers?
Absolutely not! The lawyers at My Affordable Attorney are all graduates of ABA approved law schools with extensive litigation experience having filed thousands of lawsuits. Our fee is lower because we have found ways to reduce our overhead and, frankly, we are not as greedy as the competition.
What size cases does My Affordable Attorney handle?
